Cuisine

Kenyan food includes githeri, goat, Nyama Choma, stews, samosas sukuma wiki, chapati and ugali. Ugali is a staple made of corn meal cooked in boiling water – similar to grits. Githeri is a stew made from white maize and beans and spices. Nyama Choma is barbecue beef – a national dish in Kenya. Sukuma wiki (collared green) is green related to kale often cooked in spices. As would be expected, around Lake Victoria fish dishes are common. Of course, the food is much more diverse than this and our cooks will provide you with a wonderful array of foods that reflect East African cuisine.
